Edit videos in your browser

Put clips and photos on a timeline, trim them, split them and drag them into order. Add titles and captions, background music, fades and colour changes, and pick a shape for YouTube, TikTok or Instagram. Your videos are never uploaded: the editing and the final MP4 are made on your own device.

  1. Click Add media and choose your videos, photos and music, or drop them on the page.
  2. Drag the ends of a clip to trim it, press Split to cut it at the playhead, and drag clips to reorder them.
  3. Add text, adjust sound and colours, then click Export to save an MP4.

Frequently asked questions

Are my videos uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, using your device to decode and encode the video. Nothing is sent to a server, so it also works with private videos.

Is there a watermark or a time limit?

No watermark and no limit on length. Long or 4K videos just take longer, because your own device does the work.

Which files can I use?

Videos in MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV, photos in JPG, PNG and WebP, and music in MP3, M4A, WAV and OGG. Some browsers cannot read H.265 videos from phones; Chrome, Edge and Safari on a Mac usually can.

Can I make vertical videos for TikTok, Reels or Shorts?

Yes. Choose 9:16 as the shape. Each clip can fill the frame or fit inside it with bars.

Is my project saved?

Yes, on this device as you work, so you can close the tab and continue later. The project lists on the start screen and the home page.

Is it really free?

Yes. There are no fees, no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits. Your device does the work, which is why it can stay free.
