Plan a project as a picture

A whiteboard for thinking a project through. Add boxes and sticky notes, join them with arrows, group them into phases and mark tasks as to do, in progress or done. Or write what the project is about in plain words, and it is turned into a mind map, a flowchart or a plan with phases for you to build on. Boards are saved on your device.

  1. Write a few lines about your project and click Make the map, or start with a blank board.
  2. Double-click to add boxes, drag from the dots to join them, and press Tab to add the next step.
  3. Mark tasks and due dates, then download the board as a picture or a file.

Frequently asked questions

How does "Start from text" work?

It reads the structure of what you write: headings and lists become a mind map or phases, numbered steps and words like "first", "then" and "finally" become a flow, and lines like "Idea -> Test" become arrows. It works in English and Norwegian, and it runs in your browser, so your text is not sent anywhere.

Can I use it for tasks, like ClickUp or Trello?

Yes. Any box can be a task with a status (to do, in progress, done) and a due date. Click the status on a box to move it along. The bar at the top shows how much is done.

Can I put my notes, PDFs and images on a board?

Yes. Click Add to bring in notes, documents, PDFs and images you made with the other tools here, or pictures and PDFs from your computer. A note or document can become a card or a whole map. Each box opens again in its own tool, where you continue right where you left off, and a button takes you back to the board.

Where are my boards saved?

In your browser on this device. They are never uploaded. Download a board file to keep a copy or move it to another device, or download a picture to share it.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Move the board with one finger, zoom with two, and double-tap to add a box.

Is it really free?

Yes. There are no fees, no sign-up, no watermarks added by us and no daily limits. Your device does the work, which is why it can stay free.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After your first visit the tools keep working without an internet connection. You can also install Weseth Tools as an app from your browser.
